Big Bop and Little Bop are back to their mischevious selves after their battle with Canine Parvovirus. Brave Companion Dog Rescue saved both puppies from a rural pound after they were scheduled for euthanasia. A day after The Bops arrived at their foster home, they both became serverely unwell and were rushed to Marburg Vet. Both puppies spent time in hospital receiving medication and fluids via a drip. Little Bop was allowed to go home after a few days, but Big Bop (Benji) still had a long road ahead of him. He underwent a plasma transfusion and the vet said she didn't think Big Bop would survive.
Happily, both dogs are now doing really well. Big Bop has found his fur-ever home after his foster family adopted him, and Little Bop is sticking with his brother until he finds his new home.
Brave Companion Dog Rescue saved a total of 8 puppies who were scheduled for euthanasia during that pound bust out. Some have found homes already, but two cute mixed-breed sisters, Daisy and Ivy (middle and right), are still looking for their fur-ever home.
Another pound escapee who is looking for a home to call his own is 10 month old Beckett. This sweet Cattle Dog X is ready to adopt now.
